Lodgepole Light
Liquid Amber (B - sample)
Prescott Pale Ale (B)
Petrified Porter (J)
Strawberry Wheat
Willow Wheat
Ponderosa IPA

Prescott Pale Ale: Moderately hoppy. Nice head. A full bodied beer. Hops dominate the flavor. Finish disappears in the mouth readily. Not one of their award-winners. 7.7

Petrified Porter: A very rich beer. Nice porter color. Excellent body. A little more hoppy than the average porter. A noticeably strong porter-type finish with a hint of chocolate. One of their award-winning beers and I understand why. 9.3

Liquid Amber: Nice color but no discernible aroma. Believe this is a lager not an amber ale. Initial semi-sweet taste. Finishes sweet too. Not at all the beer I thought I was getting, but would order again. A dessert beer, if such a thing is possible [2010 note: clearly my beer education has come a long ways!] John's notes on Liquid Amber: Different - a little more aggressivly hopped than other beers of its type. Not badly made, just not my glass of beer.
Becky's ranking: 8.3
John's ranking: 7.8

[we've since at least started to learn to rank according more to how the beer was made according to style, not quite as much as to whether we like it or not]
