House Brews:
Red Rose Ale
Milk Stout (J)
Plum Street Porter (B)
Amish 4 Grain Ale

Strawberry Wheat

Inside scary looking factory building in Lancaster. Inside of the pub is nicely done up. Beer, sold in small (14 oz), medium (20 oz) or large (we didn't ask).

Plum Street Porter: Deep garnet brown. Thick creamy head. Interestingly complex aroma. Also showing in flavor - a well-balanced combo of hops and malts. Very good body and carbonation. Minor problem is consistency. Some swallows are more malty - some more hoppy. Is not a distracting problem. This is a very good beer. It could improve if malty/roasty flavor were more specifically chocolate or coffee-like. 8.4

Milk Stout: Not much of an aroma (for me). A nitrous head that dissipates quickly once you start drinking. A complex taste - roasty, malty, a bit of creaminess to it. The taste really tends to shine in the finish - a little weak at the beginning. Interestingggggg. The taste isn't always consistent each swallow. 8.2
