Our friend Cathy joined us on this excursion and drank the Wassail but did not participate in ranking it.

Alle Tage Alt: Good head, not long-lasting. First taste: hoppy with underlying malt. Nicely balanced. A complicated rainbow of flavors moving in the mouth during the swallow. A slightly more pronounced finish would do this beer well. Might have earned the gold at GABF that way [it did win the silver in 1997]. 8.2

Slopbucket Brown: Not much of a head. An interesting mixture of flavors. A pleasant roast/malt flavor starts off - the hops predominate in the finish. This beer leaves an interesting tingle on your tongue. Not my ideal mixture of flavors, but a noble effort. 8.0

Very very limited menu (basically munchies only). Seating at long community-style tables.
